Your First Visit

Consultation:

At your first visit to Orleans Orthodontics, Dr. Saikaly, Certified Orthodontist, will evaluate/diagnose your dentition (teeth and surrounding structures) to determine the best course of treatment. After the doctor has completed his evaluation, he will discuss your treatment possibilities including the cost of your particular case.

Diagnostic Records:

Orthodontic diagnostic records are used by Dr. Saikaly as a study aid, in order to provide you with the best orthodontic treatment plan possible. When a patient becomes a candidate for orthodontic treatment, Dr. Saikaly considers many factors when putting together a treatment plan. Typically, orthodontic diagnostic records consist of
 Dental Impressions
 Panoramic X-Ray
 Cephalometric X-Ray
Intraoral (inside the mouth) andextraoral (outside the mouth)

Regular Appointment:

The appointment when you get your appliance (braces, Invisalign® aligners, expander, etc) usually takes from 45 to 90 minutes. You’ll then see us at regular intervals 4 to 12 weeks apart for an adjustment, which takes 20 to 40 minutes. Our regular office hours are Tuesday to Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately. Cancel appointments only if it is an emergency. It is difficult to reschedule you since most appointments are made 4 to 12 weeks in advance.
