Ashley
Registered Dental Hygienist

Ashley was born and raised in Ottawa. She has a diverse background in dentistry. Ashley was a Dental Assistant in general practice for 7 years before getting her Hygiene diploma at the Canadian National Institute of Health. As a Hygienist she worked in both general and periodontal practices.

Ashley loves working in Orthodontics with Dr. Saikaly and Dr. Cohen because she enjoys watching smiles and faces transform. Ashley feels that it is important to give back to the community; she serves as a board member at the Canadian National Institute of Health. Ashley comes from a large family with whom she is very close. She enjoys spending time with them at their cottage, traveling, yoga and reading. Come say hi to Ashley, she would love to see you!

Carine
Registered Dental Hygienist

Carine graduated with honours from La Cite Collegiale in 2010. She feels the best part of her job is working together with the patient and the Orthodontists to achieve the perfect smile. Having had braces herself, she relates well with her patients and pays attention to detail.Besides working as a dental hygienist.

she enjoys spending her time in the outdoors camping and walking her dogs. Cooking and baking is her passion and is well known for her sweet treats and has earned the nickname “Betty Crocker”. She looks forward to seeing you at your next appointment.

Chantal
Registered Dental Hygienist

Chantal graduated as a Dental Hygienist from La Cite Collegiale in 1995. In 1999 she pursued her passion for orthodontics as she enjoys seeing the transformation of beautiful smiles.

She enjoys working with Dr. Saikaly and Dr. Cohen as they are kind, friendly and professional. Chantal is from Casselman, Ontario and is married with a beautiful daughter. In her time off Chantal loves to spend time outdoors cycling, walking and camping with her family.

Guylaine
Receptionist

Born and raised in Curran, Ontario, Guylaine graduated as a Dental Assistant at La Cite Collegiale in 2000. Guylaine has worked in general dentistry for 14 years.

In her spare time she enjoys baking and spending time with her wonderful children and husband.

Jennifer
Receptionist

Having been raised in Toronto, Jen is now happy to call Ottawa home. Jen graduated with honours from Algonquin Career Academy in Medical and Dental Administration. Since joining the team in 2011, Jen has enjoyed meeting so many wonderful patients and their families and assisting them on their path to creating their new smiles.

In her free time she likes reading or relaxing with friends and family at the cottage or can usually be found spending time with her horse ‘Norman’.

Karine
Registered Dental Hygienist

Karine was born and raised in St-Albert, Ontario. She graduated with honours from La Cite Collegiale in 2000. She enjoys meeting new people as she helps them get beautiful smiles through orthodontic care. She works one on one with her patients so she sees their beautiful transformation from visit to visit.

In her spare time, Karine loves spending time with her 2 beautiful children and her terrific husband. She spends most of her summer camping and enjoying nature outdoors. She looks forward to evenings and weekends with her family and friends, enjoying a laugh and sharing special moments that will be treasured in the years to come!

Lena
Receptionist

Lena was born and raised in Cornwall and moved to Ottawa in 1999. She graduated from Algonquin College in 2006 with a diploma in Health Sciences. She has been working in the Dental Industry since 2003 and recently joined the Centertown Orthodontics team. She enjoys working with people and is a great team player. She always makes sure that patients leave the office smiling. She also has her certification in Cosmetology which she obtained as a hobby part time. She enjoys baking, health literature and movies. During her spare time Lena likes to rollerblade, eat out, shop and spend time with her family.
